The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to welcoming, serving, and providing a sense of community here at Sarasota Christian School to prospective students, new students, and families. Student Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve and perform duties at various SCS campus and community events. They also serve in areas within the Admissions Office, and serve as a first point of contact to visitors, both by phone and in person.
Student Council is an organization conducted by student leaders and supervised by adult sponsors. Sarasota Christian Student Council gives students, elected by their classmates, an opportunity to lead and serve the student body, the school, and the community. They represent and advocate to faculty and administration on behalf of their peers. They help the students raise funds for school wide projects and relief efforts. In addition, student council members plan and organize special events and functions at SCS.
National Honor Society
SCS sponsors a chapter of the National Honor Society. High school students must achieve distinction in scholarship, leadership, service, and character to be eligible for NHS. Once elected to NHS, a student is a member for life as long as they continue to meet the annual requirements.
