Support our Mission

From 1958 to the present day, Sarasota Christian School has relied on generous alumni, parents, grandparents and friends to financially support our mission.  It is through these individuals that we are able to expand upon what is already excellent about our campus and search for new areas that could contribute to our community.  Charitable donations impact every aspect of SCS from our students to academic missions, research programs and campus life.  Whatever the gift is designated for, there are numerous ways to give to Sarasota Christian School

Annual Drive – This fund, our first priority, usually consists of unrestricted donations that go directly into the operating budget to support areas that need the most assistance.  It also helps to plant seed money for any unforeseen needs that may arise.  An invitation to contribute to SCS’s annual drive is mailed after Thanksgiving for end-of-year donations, but contributions to this fund may be made throughout the fiscal year.

Capital Campaign – This component addresses SCS’s urgent needs to update older facilities on campus and comply with technological standards of today’s society.  It also helps bring intuitive study to additional facilities that may be needed in the future.

Endowments – These funds help to secure and expand our community’s strengths for the future.  They help to ensure prominent faculty and staff, enrich curriculum programs and assist in funding scholarships for families who may struggle with tuition costs.

In order for Sarasota Christian School to continue growing, funding for these areas is essential.  Without the help of generous persons, we would not be able to provide a developed campus and modern academics while honoring our commitment to keep tuition affordable.  We invite you to contact our development office to discuss your giving interests.
