events at Sarasota Christian School provided by our development
department. It includes a message from our administrator,
a scrapbook - picture book look at highlighted events,

Dear Alumni & Friends,
You are invited to attend and participate in The 8th Annual Celebration of
Praise, Dec. 8 & 9. This year it will be held in the SCS Gym-winter
wonderland. This year’s theme is A Victorian Christmas. This program is the
only fundraiser for each of the Fine Arts at SCS. This dinner-theater event
with 5- course meal, beverage and dessert will showcase the SCS Orchestra,
Touring Choir, Drama an Art Departments. A special rendition of Dickens’
Christmas Carol will be presented by the Drama Department. The Arts
Department will showcase their works at a unique exhibition where selected
works can be purchased. The Touring Choir will present English Carols in
costume and stroll through guest’s tables, accompanied by a strummed guitar.
The Orchestra will play selected pieces throughout the evening.
The grand finale of the entire evening will be Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus
from the Messiah. All alumni, parents, faculty & staff who know how to sing
this marvelous work are invited to get up on stage and sing with us. Music
will be provided or you can bring your own score.
