Igniting Minds. Infusing Faith

Outstanding Academics

Sarasota Christian School offers a comprehensive, biblically infused curriculum.  Concepts taught are connected Pre-K through 12th grade through curriculum mapping, which allows for our students' education to exceed Florida State standards. In addition to core subjects, elementary students also participate in iPad lab, Spanish, library, music, and physical education classes each week. Middle school students have additional opportunities to participate in art, athletics, band, Bible, choir, physical education, Spanish, strings, and more.  Our on-site dual enrollment program offers high school students the ability to earn up to 55 college credit hours while keeping them on campus in a Christian environment.

Through RenWeb, our online academic software, parents and students have 24/7 access to academic progress information including grades, homework assignments, lesson plans, a school calendar, faculty/staff directory, forms and more.

Moodle is an additonal online tool that provides customizable classrooms. It gives students 24/7 access to resources for assignments and projects (e.g. documents, web links and videos), collaborative tools (e.g. real-time chat forums, peer and self-assessments, and surveys), as well as online quiz and testing capabilities. Students can receive reminders about assignments and email confirmations of work submitted. Feel free to explore course materials syllabi, assignments and teachers bios on our Moodle site.

High school course offerings and descriptions can be found in our High School Curriculum Guide. You can also learn more about our Accelerated College Education (ACE) Program and our Associate's Degree in Business Program.

At Sarasota Christian School, we are fully accredited and our comprehensive curriculum is interwoven with Biblical truth and values of integrity, self-discipline, and kindness.
