SCS is committed to global interactions and learning opportunities for our students. Our International School Partnership Program, which connects each grade with a school around the world through Mennonite Central Committee's Global Family program, is one example of how we build international relationships and develop global awareness for our students.
SCS is the first school to have each grade level partner with a school through MCC's Global Family program. This week representatives from MCC are here filming and interviewing faculty and students to showcase SCS's initiative.
Mr. Conner, High School Principal, and Mr. Shank, Superintendent, have been hosting several Listen and Learn Lunches
with groups of high school students. The lunches give students an opportunity to share new ideas and give feedback about all aspects of high school, and express what they love about SCS. Mr. Conner and Mr. Shank truly value the student's insight and are looking forward to being able to implement some of their suggestions.
